Parkhie, a law firm dedicated to helping startups, entrepreneurs, and business owners navigate the legal aspects of their endeavors. Poorvi partners with growth-minded Colorado businesses, providing dependable legal support that is easy to understand, free of stress, and affordable. With over 20 years of practice experience in business and corporate law, Poorvi applies her extensive legal and business knowledge to help small and midsize businesses succeed and grow.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Poorvi earned her undergraduate and law degrees at Emory University. After graduating from law school, she practiced commercial real estate, corporate, and finance law with a large international law firm in Washington, D.C. She then served as corporate finance counsel at a Fortune 500 financial services company for almost a decade, including several years of working remotely after her family moved to Denver.
In 2020, Poorvi established The Law Office of Poorvi B. Parkhie to provide business law services to new and existing businesses throughout Colorado. Eager to apply the wealth of knowledge she gained working in big law firms and the corporate environment to help smaller companies, she oriented her new practice to helping business owners establish and maintain a solid legal foundation and address transactional legal matters that arise throughout the lifecycle of their businesses.
As a small business owner who values working with trustworthy, responsive partners in managing her own business, Poorvi is committed to providing straightforward, honest advice in a timely manner, always responding promptly to clients’ inquiries and needs. She also understands the importance of conserving financial resources and works efficiently, avoiding needless waste of her clients’ time and money. Poorvi’s extensive business law background enables her to provide clients with exceptional quality legal services at reasonable rates.
Poorvi serves as outside general counsel for many smaller businesses that do not need full-time in-house counsel but do need a trusted lawyer by their side. By developing a close working relationship with a client from the beginning, Poorvi thoroughly grasps the nuances of the operations and goals of the business and is readily available to address new ideas or new concerns as soon as they arise. She is fully invested in the success of every client. The most gratifying part of Poorvi’s work is seeing a client succeed and exceed their goals and expectations.
When she’s not helping clients grow and succeed, Poorvi spends time with her husband and their two teenage children. The whole family loves outdoor activities like exploring the mountains, as well as traveling to new and familiar places. In quiet moments, Poorvi enjoys reading, writing, and cultivating her garden.
